My name is Mai Lien. Currently, I am living and working in the city of Lorient, France. To me, the Vietnamese traditional dress, known as Ao Dai, is a cultural icon that is closely associated with the image of Vietnamese women.
I always feel proud when wearing the Ao Dai at traditional Vietnamese festivals and events held in France. I also encourage my family and friends to wear the Ao Dai on special occasions, as it is the national dress of Vietnam and wearing it is a way to connect with our homeland, roots, and the legacy of the Vietnamese people.
This picture captures one of the precious moments of my life. It was my mother's 90th birthday, and we both decided to wear the Ao Dai and take some beautiful photos together.
