Mrs. Trinh Thi Thanh

As a part of our Ao Dai project, I interviewed Mrs.Thanh about her experience and relationship with Ao Dai.

She is 70 years old. She lives in La Phu village, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi. She has worn about 15 Ao Dai before. The first time she wore Ao Dai was in 1974 at her wedding. It made her happy and she felt like she was the most beautiful bride.

Nowadays, she always wears Ao Dai on special days like relatives’ weddings, Tet festivals or family reunions. She likes Ao Dai so much because it makes women more beautiful. She gave us the Ao Dai that she wore in the family photo on the first day of this year. By donating to our project, she hoped that the one who receives this Ao Dai will be elegant and always live in the love of their family members.
