My name is Minh Phu. I’m 10 years old, and I’m now living in Japan with my family. Although I don’t live in Vietnam, I love Vietnam so much, and I love Ao dai, our national costume, too. We often wear ao dai on Tet holidays and take family pictures. I also brought it to school to show it to my classmates. I think it’s beautiful, and so do my classmates. When I wore it, they said I looked very nice. I also gave them some information about Ao Dai, and they were very impressed.
At school, I often introduce Vietnamese culture to my classmates. I taught them some Vietnamese greetings, Vietnamese traditional games, and Vietnam’s famous places. After my visit to Vietnam, I brought pictures and books to introduce them to Ha Long Bay, Ban Gioc Waterfall, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Cu Chi Tunnel, and some Vietnamese traditional houses that I saw in the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
Recently, I also wrote a report about Pho, the famous Vietnamese food. My classmates thought it would be very yummy, and they wanted to try it someday.
I’m proud to be Vietnamese, and I want to share more about Vietnam with my friends all over the world.
