I often wear Ao Dai whenever I perform, and I have many memories of wearing Ao Dai while performing abroad. Foreigners really like Ao Dai, especially the Japanese audience.
Currently, I am living in Australia, and every time I perform for international audiences, they are all amazed by the Vietnamese Ao Dai. I was invited to be an ambassador to promote the traditional costumes of various ethnic groups in my local community. They really like and always praise the beauty of the Vietnamese Ao Dai, which enhances the beauty of women. Once, when I performed in Japan, the audience bought all the Ao Dai from the art
I am a member of the Vietnamese-Australian Cultural Exchange Organization in Sydney. Our wish is to bring Vietnamese culture closer to the multicultural community in Australia, and promoting áo dài is also one of our future activities.
When I wear Ao Dai, I always think of the beauty of Vietnamese women. So as to not forget my cultural roots, I always provide opportunities for my children to learn Vietnamese, learn to play traditional Vietnamese instruments like the đàn bầu and sáo trúc (Vietnamese traditional instruments), and take them to participate in multicultural festivals like the "Children Festival in Sydney". I also love Vietnamese cuisine, always having a small garden in my home to grow all kinds of Vietnamese herbs for cooking Vietnamese dishes for my family and children.
