Lea Nguyen

This photo was taken when I was a little girl. I was very happy wearing the traditional Vietnamese dress - the Ao Dai. Although I don’t often wear Ao Dai, - only during some cultural festivities - I always feel so special, like a Queen of the world when I wear the Ao Dai.

I have 5 Ao Dai in total in my wardrobe. On the Lunar New Year this year, my best friend and I both wore Ao Dai. All of my friends said that I looked so pretty and gorgeous. I love my roots, my home country. To me, traditional dresses play an important role in my heart because they remind me about my culture.
