In 2020, my school in Budapest, Hungary Celebrated Nationalities Day, and I was chosen to represent Vietnam. Being one of the few students from a different country, I was excited to showcase my culture and share my experiences with my classmates.
I decided to focus my presentation on three popular elements of Vietnam: its cuisine, traditional clothing, and iconic accessories. I talked about Vietnam's traditional clothing, the Ao Dai. I showed them different designs and colors, explaining the significance of each element. To make the presentation more interactive, I brought some Ao Dai outfits and let my classmates try them on. It was fun to see everyone excitedly trying on the traditional garment and taking pictures in them.
Since then, I have had the opportunity to wear the same Ao Dai on various occasions, including 8.3.2019, Trung Thu 2019, PMT Livestreams, Ngay tro ve - Luong Song 2022, Yeu Tieng Viet 2023, and even during a Chopin AMI Concert in 2023...
